It all started In Feudal Japan......
Inuyasha a hanyou was bound to the Gonshiboku for 50years by Lady Kikyou.
500 years in the future Kagome Hiraigushi is pulled through the well by a giant centipede monster demanding the jewel. The Jewel is in Kagome and its been taken out. In order to save them Kagome unseals Inuyasha and he destroys the monster with ease. But he is after the jewel to become a full youkai not a hanyou. Before he gets it Lady Keade puts a spell on with a magic necklace that lets Kagome 'sit' him on command.
During her 'stay' in feudal Japan. A demon crow tries to steal the jewel for its own needs but fails in the process. Kagome fires an arrow at but in doing so it shatters the jewel.
Now Kagome, Inuyasha and their new friends must find the sacred Jewel shards before Naraku(Look at his pg for his info) finds them first.
Your Inuyasha! You are a punk, you like to pick fights and hate being in school, your grades are slipping but you don't care, you are having to much fun to actually do anything about it!
